Northern Lights provides a worry-free alternative lifestyle that allows residents to live on their own and receive some assistance with daily activities if needed
Skilled Nursing Care
Viking Manor provides skilled nursing care within our 45 bed Medicaid/Medicare certified facility.
Rehabilitation Care
Viking Manor's Rehabilitation Department specializes in physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies.
Hospice Care
Hospice care provides compassionate care for people in the last phases of incurable disease so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible.
Respite Care
Respite Care is care provided as temporary replacement of a live-in caregiver. Our Respite Care program can give you peace of mind to travel, while we care for your family member.

"Mom moved into the Viking Manor Nursing Home when the Twin Valley Nursing Home closed in the fall of 2018. "Our Dad moved to Northern Lights Assisted Living at the end of November, 2019. In the fall of 2021, he moved to the Viking Manor Nursing Home. Dad gets wonderful care at this facility. The building is always clean, and the staff there are friendly and great! Dad enjoys playing bingo and visiting with friends and staff at the Viking Manor. We recently moved my Dad from a nearby nursing home to Viking Manor, and to date we have been more than satisfied with the care, professionalism and kindness they have shown our family and my Dad. We heard a lot of very good things from people in the surrounding communities about Viking Manor and we are happy to report the information given to us has been true to date. Dad’s care took a turn for the worse pretty quickly after being admitted, but they were so good to help connect us to Hospice and the care, from both the Hospice staff, and the nursing care staff at Viking Manor has been very positive and it gives our family great comfort to know Dad is being well taken care of at this time in his life. The administrative staff has been so responsive, and the professionalism shown to us has been a credit to the way the Viking Manor is being run. My Dad’s only concern when moving him was “how good is the food” and we’re happy to report he’s been very satisfied with his care and the food at Viking Manor!

My mother and mother-in-law were fortunate to reside in Viking Manor. Visiting often, I was able to witness the physical and emotional care given to them. Staff at Viking welcomed questions from family, and were helpful to meet the needs of the residents. The delicious food always had rave reviews…a highlight of each day! Mom told me that “even the water tastes good!” Each month brings special occasions to celebrate with decorations, special menus, activities, and dressing up. Having the beauty shop, church services, and the dentist come in are additional bonuses so the residents can have special care without leaving the building. Viking Manor feels like one big family, and we made lifelong friends there.
